Pawject Pets was created for those moments.

Pet care should feel clearer, not scarier
Pawject Pets does not exist to make pet care sound perfect or easy. Many pet owners have limited information, limited support, difficult situations, or no easy access to organised animal rescue.
Not everyone grew up with pets. Not everyone knows what is normal. Not everyone has a vet nearby. Sometimes people simply need someone to explain things in a way that makes sense.
It started with one tiny kitten
A few years ago, when my children were in primary school, we had our first cat distribution moment.
A tiny kitten had been abandoned on a neighbour’s balcony. We heard tiny shrieks and found a little kitten small enough to fit in my children’s hands. We named him Scruffy.
As first-time pet owners, we had no clue what we were doing. Living in a remote region made it even harder, so we depended heavily on the internet for help.
Despite our efforts, Scruffy did not survive. But he helped us understand how ill-equipped and confused many people are when it comes to cats and pets.
Scruffy inspired the rescue of many furry friends. Today, our home includes 11 cats, 6 dogs, a couple of feathered friends, and many strays we feed daily.
Pawject Pets is a passion project created to help first-time pet owners feel less alone, less overwhelmed, and more supported.
